Small Toy swivels after one 50 sand well. Real water well drilling rig swivels are machined and cost more than a total toy rig.. There is a reason why they are machined. Toy swivels off of small post hole auger rigs work ok, in soft sand, But if you hit anything hard, the deal is off.

When buying Drill Bits, there are real bits, and toy bits. The toy bits will do a little on toy rigs, but no rock, forget it. In the picture here there are standard Drag bits with carbide teeth and home built toy bit for sand drilling.
